NATIONAL SALES EXECUTIVE


For over 40 years, Carter and Clark is the largest nationwide surveying company providing builder services surveying to production home builders. We help builders build houses faster and more profitably.

We have an immediate opening for a National Sales Executive. This position is responsible for business development with existing and new clients, which include production homebuilders, disaster recovery builders, and program administrators for projects involving construction surveying. Training and support is provided.

POSITION SUMMARY


This position focuses on new sales and building deep and longstanding relationships with clients at the executive level. This person will personify and enhance the company's reputation, build awareness around technology and services offered and identity opportunities for increased penetration across client-base. Success in this role requires integrity, charisma, professional polish, drive, assertiveness, and independent judgement, as you will be responsible for building key relationships with minimal supervision.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Actively prospect, qualify and close new business/clients, focusing on Builder 100 Top 10 builders.
  • Execute and own all aspects of the sales process.
  • Build a robust pipeline of homebuilder/client opportunities by actively participating in relevant associations, trade shows and networking events.
  • Leverage existing relationships and those with existing clients to cross sell and close new clients/markets.
  • Entertain clients as needed to increase revenue, strengthen client relationships, and maintain an understanding of the industry and corresponding needs to inform new product/service enhancements and up-selling opportunities.
  • Travel required nationally (generally 2-4 nights, 2 times per month)

  • Extensive sales experience and exceptional prospecting, negotiating and closing skills

Position is located at Corporate Headquarters in Duluth, GA.

This is a full-time position with a base salary. There is also a bonus opportunity, as well as uncapped commission. Successful National Sales Executives typically earn ~1.5x their base salary annually, when adding their commission and bonus to their base salary.
